iBuild Connect is a service available in ibuild.info construction project and company database. ibuild.info construction project and company database service is provided jointly by E-Build Kft. (1144 Budapest, Kőszeg utca 25., Hungary) and Ebuild Srl (Oradea, Str. I. C. Bratianu 54, Romania). The service is used by companies involved or intending to participate in construction projects (developers, designers, contractors, suppliers, service providers) to share and obtain information, and to contact. The data of Hungarian construction projects, companies and their contact persons are typically managed by E-Build Kft., while those of Romanian construction projects, companies and their contact persons are typically managed by Ebuild Srl. You may nevertheless exercise your rights with respect to both companies.
When you visit ibuild.info without logging in, we collect and store the following data in cookies: session ID and the ID of our server serving the session (to ensure smooth connection between your browser and our servers), your email address used for previous logins (so that you do not have to enter it again), display version (desktop, i.e. full version, or mobile, i.e. new version), and the display language (Hungarian, Romanian or English). You can change the display version by clicking on the link in the header. You can change the display language by selecting it in the header.
When you log in to use ibuild.info construction project and company database, we collect, store and use your personal data in or associated with your account. When logged in, you may also view the majority of your personal data under your account (on your own person page).
You need to register to create a user account. You have the choice to register yourself or - in possession of your consent - we register you. We collect the following personal data for registration: associated company, name, position, email address, phone number. These data are for us to identify you and verify that a real person registered on our website. After verification, we send you an email with the login data and a temporary password, which you are required to change when you first log in to your account. We naturally store your password encrypted and use it only to identify you when you log in and confirm that you are authorised to log in to our website. We encourage you to use a strong password you do not use elsewhere to ensure higher security of your data. It is particularly important that you do not use the same password as you use for your email account.
When your company is assigned to a project (as a participant company of the project) in the database, we may assign you as a contact person to your company and the project at hand with your dedicated consent. In this respect, please, read the separate privacy policy for ibuild.info construction project and company database contact persons.
Upon your separate consent, we inform you by email whenever new projects or companies fulfilling the conditions agreed in advance are listed in our database, and whenever there is a significant change in the data of certain projects or companies. We call this change notification and store the associated settings in your account. Upon your separate consent we inform you by email about our new developments pertaining to ibuild.info users. Upon your separate consent we inform you by email when the new EBI Construction Activity Report is completed using the analysis of the ibuild.info database.
You may add comments to the projects, companies and persons in the database. We call this my company’s notes. Please, note that your notes saved in our database must expressly not include personal data.
Before using the - free or paid - functions of ibuild.info and displaying data, we verify if you are authorised to view them. We store your relevant authorisations and other settings linked to your account.
We collect data of users’ activities to ensure the continuity of our services, measure and analyse performance, personalise our services, improve our existing and develop new services, and to protect against abuse. This includes, for example, projects, companies and persons viewed, filters used, search expressions, data of messages sent from the system, login counts, time spent logged in and IP addresses.
If you use our free services, we may use your data to contact you offering further free or paid additional services. If you use our paid services or there is an ongoing negotiation on using paid services, we may register you not only as a user, but as the contact person of the relevant sales process. We use your data during the process, for example for negotiation, orders, invoicing and renewals.
We use your data only for the above purposes and do not disclose them to third parties apart from the cases below.
We process your data based on your consent. Your consent is voluntary, we do not process your personal data for a given purpose without your consent. We do not assign you as contact person to a company or project in the database, send change notifications, inform you about our new developments or send a notice about the new EBI Construction Activity Report without your express consent. If you do not consent to the miscellaneous data processing listed in the above section, we cannot create an account for you, and you cannot log in to the ibuild.info construction project and company database. You may withdraw your consent to data processing at any time. The simplest way is for you to send an email to dataprotection@ibuild.info with ‘Withdrawal’ as subject. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
You can delete cookies under your browser settings. One month after you last use ibuild.info, the ibuild.info cookies are automatically deleted from your browser.
We review your data every five year at most, and classify them in default of confirmation, then delete or anonymise them together with your account within eight days. Whenever you log in to your account, we consider your data to have been reviewed.
You may request the erasure of your data at any time. The simplest way is for you to send an email to dataprotection@ibuild.info with ‘Erasure’ as subject. If you request your data to be erased or fully withdraw your consent to processing, we immediately classify your data and delete or anonymise them together with your account within eight days. The eight-days term is due to the complexity of the technology required. We do not use your data during this term for any purpose, only store them.
You have the right to object to data processing. The simplest way is for you to send an email to dataprotection@ibuild.info with ‘Objection’ as subject.
You may request the restriction of data processing. The simplest way is for you to send an email to dataprotection@ibuild.info with ‘Restriction’ as subject. In this case, we suspend your account, and do not erase, but continue to store and additionally classify your data, and do not use them for any purpose.
You may request your inaccurate or incorrect data to be rectified, clarified and corrected. The simplest way for this is to log in to your account and send a message to ibuild under your personal profile. If you cannot or do not want to log in, please, send an email to dataprotection@ibuild.info with ‘Rectification’ as subject.
You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you find that the processing of your personal data violates the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Should you have any comments, complaints, questions, inquiries or requests, please, send them to any of our contacts. Among others, you may also inquire whether we process your personal data, request access to the data processed, or transmit your data you share with us to third parties.
